The Cats of Hawai'i

Feral kitties ahoy!

Hilo and the rest of Hawai'i have large populations of feral cats. I managed to befriend a couple of homeless cats, one of them I dubbed Lanai (patio) because that was where I found her. She was quite a friendly little thing, probably an abandoned pet. The other cats were very feral and wild, and wouldn't let you get too close, although they were more than happy to let you feed them!
